Dark Rock 5 is the compact embodiment of extremely high cooling performance and high compatibility. With effortless installation and a silent fan, it is designed for passionate gamers of all kinds. Enjoy gaming while your CPU cools virtually inaudibly with the extreme cooling power of no less than 6 heat pipes.
EXTREME COOLING POWER
With 6 high-performance copper heat pipes and a dense aluminium fin array, Dark Rock 5 offers robust cooling. A special black coating with ceramic particles enables perfect heat transfer from the heat sink to the air, keeping your system cool under the most intense workloads.
SILENT WINGS PWM FAN
The Silent Wings 4 120mm PWM fan features an advanced fluid-dynamic bearing, smooth 6-pole motor, and airflow-optimised fan blades. Thanks to a tight tip clearance between fan blade and frame, the front fan provides extremely high air pressure. A funnel-shaped frame outlet enables ideal air distribution. The rubberized fan frame prevents vibrations from transferring to the heat sink, reducing overall noise.
DESIGNED FOR ALL KINDS OF RAM AND VRM COOLERS
The Dark Rock 5's asymmetrical design and heat sink cut-outs increase RAM and VRM cooler compatibility significantly and enable limitless memory height. Optionally, a second fan can be installed at the exhaust for an extra performance boost, making Dark Rock 5 a versatile marvel.
CONVENIENT HANDLING
Installation is easier than ever with the Dark Rock 5. Thanks to its convenient, pre-installed mounting bridge and a firm yet gentle fixing method, cooler attachment is a breeze. To sweeten the deal, a long-neck screwdriver is included in the scope of delivery.
LIQUID METAL THERMAL GREASE
Thanks to a nickel-plated base, Dark Rock 5 is compatible with liquid metal thermal grease such as DC2 Pro. The properties of liquid metal compound combined with Dark Rock 5 allow high-end CPUs to perform at even higher levels.

With GPUs hitting ÂŁ1,200 and CPUs topping ÂŁ400, new-gen builds have priced many UK consumers out of the market. Instead, the community thrives on second-hand hardware - a culture rooted in affordability, value cycles, and sustainability through reuse and right-to-repair.
CoreWeave and OpenAI have expanded their partnership with a new $6.5B contract, bringing the total to $22.4B in 2025. The deal supports OpenAI’s Stargate project, relies heavily on Nvidia hardware, and raises questions about concentration and regulatory scrutiny in AI infrastructure.
Nvidia’s $100B OpenAI deal promises 10GW of AI compute power by 2026. The company insists GPU supply for gamers won’t suffer, but with such massive demand on the horizon, many fear a repeat of past shortages. Is this the start of an AI-first Nvidia era, and what does it mean for PC gaming?
Nvidia’s $5B stake in Intel isn’t just about faster chips. It’s a U.S. chip alliance forged in the shadow of a trade war with China - a lifeline for Intel to stay competitive, and a move that could reshape how PC gamers and data centers power their systems.
PC parts don’t just lose value.. they cycle. New launches push buyers toward older GPUs and CPUs, reducing supply and raising demand. Here’s why second-hand components stay valuable and how sellers can prepare them for resale.
